Recently in FK in my corners of social journaling:

Ficathons, Fests and Communities

fkficfest/fkficfest has posted its 2012 game timeline. Sign-ups: 4/23-5/25. Stories Due: 7/28.
remix_her/remix_her is a new community for female-character remixes. havocthecat surveyed for ficathon preferences.
rarewomen continues periodically posting unmatchable requests and pinch-hits for claiming. Stories due: 4/30.
celli's annual "Taxfic Challenge," a multi-fandom challenge-style ficathon, is due 4/17 this year.
10tropes is a multi-fandom ficathon community where players pick ten tropes from a list ("fanfic-bingo lite").

Fanfiction

3/22: hearts_blood posted "Mementos" (~2K words; G, gen).
3/11: pj1228 posted "Sealing Relations" (~9K words; adult).
19 FK works on AO3 currently show March 2012 publication dates. (13 of the 19 are by one author; I recognize some from late '90s fkfic-l, under another name.)

3/11: chelseagirl47 wondered whether the Greg Kramer who wrote the strategy guide for the videogame American McGee's Alice (2000) is FK's GK.
3/04: pj1228 reviewed the play Poetic License, starring GWD.

Airings
Chiller does not have any FK scheduled for April or May. Pity.
