Thanks for reading! I think that good stories change over time and from different angles; only relatively useless stories seem exactly the same at every age, to every era, in every situation. :-)

But series are especially exposed, with all their component pieces and moving parts.

Yes, BtVS is a very similar situation! I understand. (Myself, I still haven't watched numerous episodes of its final two seasons; I was that disenchanted.)
