There's so much to praise in first season, and the pervasive hope is at the top of my list! First season understands that a heroic journey is toward the right thing, not the easy or pleasurable thing, so challenges don't get confused with failure.

I love second and third seasons, too, in their ways, of course. But they... forget from where they came.
