That part is on the Region 1 DVDs. It isn't missing. Only the last part of that larger scene is missing.
The Region 2 DVD versions of DK1/DK2 "patch over" in German more than just the precise bits cut from the Region 1 DVDs. For example, when a unified 3 minute scene is missing 10 seconds early and another 15 seconds later on the Region 1 DVD, the Region 2 DVD English-language track doesn't only patch in those 25 seconds in German, it runs the entire 3 minutes in German, misleadingly suggesting that all 3 minutes must be missing from the Region 1 DVD.
:-) It's hugely annoying. :-) My German isn't that good! :-) Luckily, I remember the scenes from VHS. :-)
