I remember being told once that some Canadian fans, on seeing the CBS US cuts for the first time, wondered how anyone in the US could like the show at all, it made so little sense to them without the cut scenes. :-)

Of course, the CBS US cut was much shorter than the DVDs! Thanks goodness that the DVDs didn't take that route! :-)
