Except for "Dark Knight" itself (which is chopped), the first season editions on the Region 1 DVDs are mostly the original Canadian airings, and are always the Canadian re-run cut when not the original. They all do lack some Region 2 footage ("Eurominutes," as HL fandom called it), as did those original Canadian airings.
I'd personally recommend that every deep-dyed FK fan who can afford it go and buy the Region 2 DVDs from Amazon.de and hack a Region 1 DVD player to turn it to "all regions." Then we'd all have all the currently available footage! (The Region 2 DVDs have an English-language option; there's no need to know German.)
The only still-missing aired footage, then, not on any DVDs at all, would be the "patches" from the original US CBS airings, the shortest cuts ever, which occasionally (rarely! I know of only 2 for sure) needed "bridges" over the cut scenes, and ended up using different footage entirely, that otherwise hit the cutting room floor. These cuts resurfaced in FK's very last outing on a US cable channel several years ago, maximizing commercial time and proving that the footage isn't actually lost to its owners... just to us.
