Your comment on the phrasing reminded me of "Cinderella's War." :-) I forget its ordinal number, but it was the summer of '97, I think, the one where all the AU characters flooded into FKFic-L War Toronto. There was a lot of "a Natalie" and "another Vachon" and "that Nick," "no, the other Nick," "wait, that's a Nick?" :-)
