Actually, I've been trying to amuse and distract myself at a difficult time.

Originally, I had thought I'd use the lockdown to work on a couple of longer stories; but my attention has been sadly diffuse. Ficlets are about all I can manage. Besides, if other people also use them for distraction, it's probably better to get them irregularly every few days. A long story is more satisfying while you are reading it; but then it's over and done with.

The alternative is spending my time reading the paper, watching TV, and browsing on line. All pass the time. Indeed, all pass most of my time. I figure I may as well try to do something productive, though. Even if only on a tiny scale.
