You're welcome! I'm afraid that the link 404ed -- I've fixed it now -- so that was not as helpful as I hoped.

(If you do not find anyone, I can read for spelling, grammar, punctuation, and common ways of speaking. But you know that my character and story tastes are very different from yours; I'm not the right audience.)

Thank you for offering. That's very kind. But for the reasons you point out, I don't think that this is a story you would enjoy. You might even find some parts disturbing, so I would rather not expose you to that.
I was considering to simply post it and rely on kind hints of the readers if anything is amiss.
Alternatively, I could blacken out the triggering parts, so that you can skip them.

I appreciate that! If we cannot find you the right sort of beta-reader, who enjoys the same genres you do, I could help with the parts of the story that are suitable for me, and skip the other parts, if you would like.

Very likely, your story is fine as it is, and your readers will enjoy it very much!

But it would be so nice to connect you with one or two steady folks who share your tastes and with whom you could exchange beta-reading regularly. If not for this story, then future stories... There must be people out there who enjoy your stories, and just don't realize they could help with them, I imagine.
