For the record, here's how this type of treating event works:
The DW community is set to screen all comments. The mods collect everyone's "wishes" in comments on an admin post and then repost them as individual "gift basket" posts in the community, so that all comment notifications come to the mods, not the recipients.
Creators comment on a "gift basket" post in the DW community, either with the treat itself or with a link to the treat (on the AO3, DeviantArt, wherever).
On reveal day, the mods manually unscreen all the comments.
