Have you had an opportunity to see Transformers: One yet? (You use past tense above -- no longer hoping?)

If you have not yet seen it, then, when an opportunity comes your way, I highly recommend it. I think it's very well written and truly hits a "for all ages" chord, working seamlessly at multiple levels. The folks who made this movie loved it. (The folks who marketed it did not understand.) Transformers: One is the show I imagined I was watching in the '80s.
