FK Fan Susan F., deceased
Monday's forkni-l digest and a locked LJ post together brought the news that FK fan Susan Ellen F. has died of cancer (public announcement via Libratsie, from April H.).
Her humorous UFer fanfiction is here, and her serious fanfiction collaborating with April H. is here. She and April had a novel nominated in the '99 FK Fanfic Awards. She was heavily involved in "Kickstart the Knight"! In 2004, she and Nancy K. re-issued the "Conversion Day" Challenge as a Crusader newsletter contest.
I'm afraid that I knew Susan F. only from the list, and we've had no contact in years. However, it's very easy to see that she will be widely missed. My condolences to her friends and family.
