my first 2nd-gen pokémon

I hatched a Pichu today! 87% IVs (11, 14, 14). Plain normal-type Quick Attack, so no STAB, but the babies aren't really for battling, anyway.

He's adorable!

And he's opened up all these mysterious slots in my pokédex for future filling. ;-)

How are you guys doing? Any lucky hatches of eggs picked up since Monday? Any sponsored pokéstops usefully placed for you? Any hat-wearing pikachus? Oh, and apparently there was another migration yesterday or today.

I haven't managed to hatch any of them yet, which is making me a little sad. On the plus side, I did (finally) evolve my first Gyrados last night! That took forever.

Congratulations on your gyrados! That's exciting! I have 320 magikarp candy, so 80 to go... not any time soon for me. :-)

Good luck hatching the babies! Pichu is tremendously cute. I'm looking forward to Cleffa and the others in time.
