Recommendation: a goofy, silly, fun, new-to-me ZeldaTuber
Recently, I added a goofy, silly, fun ZeldaTuber to my line-up:
QuinBoBin. While normally I look for the deep lore theories -- the more complex and fraught the better (you've met me) -- I've recently needed some light, cheerful, pick-me-up content, and this hit the spot! Quinn specializes in edited playthroughs, glee in how fun games are, and cheeky yet comfy commentary that boasts expert gameplay to self-deprecate bumbling gameplay.
Quinn laughs a lot and never has a harsh word for anyone or anything (occasional Korok launches excepted). The closest I've yet heard was a mild, passing reproof to the sad online folks picking on others for having fun with EoW (girl cooties, you know).
If you're already done with (or thoroughly spoiled on) Echoes of Wisdom, try Quinn's EoW playlist. If you're remaining unspoiled, there's TotK, TP, and many others. (Yes, Quinn does draw the thumbnails.)

Re: a Switch II for me
I think this is why I love it so much. People on the Reddit groups come in (often) asking "How do I play this" and the answer is always a version of "stop looking for a map and just WANDER AROUND" and how wonderful is that? I'm not going to ever be a big fighter or monster slayer, and to some extent that is absolutely fine in both BOTW and TOTK-- within some basic structure, you can play how you love to play.
(for both games, I will note that it's important to follow the main storyline for at least a while when you start playing, as it gives you abilities and materials you won't get otherwise. But that's really it.)
Re: a Switch II for me
Do you usually play on the handheld itself, or do you usually cast to your TV or other big screen? My one in-person friend who plays is part of a big gamer household -- her husband works for a game company -- and they always play docked, and have a "tree" of assorted controllers next to their giant TV (hers, his, their kid's). The hosts on my favorite Zelda podcast, on the other hand, generally prefer to play on the handheld.
I definitely intend to follow the main storylines! I just won't be surprised by them... I think. ;-) We shall find out when the Switch II (or whatever they call it) comes!
Re: a Switch II for me
(That said, I have taken the switch on trips and will play. But I generally save any important quests, etc. to play on the larger screen.)
