Yes, I really expected (and, frankly, wanted) a starter "baby steps" lobby on how to use the device in the most basic ways, like how to save and exit the game, and how to move with the ordinary controls, but the game leaves you to figure that all out yourself (and the set-up screens on the device skip explaining those things, too, so it's not like it's pre-covered outside the game).

This is my first Nintendo device of my very own, not shared or borrowed, so I thought that the "Welcome Tour" would be right for me, even though the gamer fandom had sniffed at it. I should have listened to them. ;-)

To be very cheeky, it's almost like they played "Astro's Playground" and thought, "What if we did that, but without any of the characters or fun?"
