For the short month of February, in Forever Knight, in my corners of social journaling, here're the few items that I spotted:

Ficathons, Fests and Communities

• fkficfest/fkficfest's annual pre-game survey remains open through Monday, March 3. When and how should we play this year? (Presently, the poll has 7 participants on DW and 4 on LJ.)
• rarewomen sign-ups remain open through Sunday, March 2. Key links: see the current sign-up summary status, sign-up to play, sign-up to pinch-hit, review the rules. (Presently, FK has 3 requests and 4 offers.)
• onedeadplotbunny is a community supporting the completion of all those fanworks languishing in dusty corners of your hard-drive (or Google Drive, fluffy cloud, whatever).
• genprompt_bingo is a low-commitment, multi-fandom, multi-media, bingo-game challenge.
• As always, the recommendation communities fancake, fanart_recs and het_reccers could use reccing volunteers.

Fanfiction

• 2/05: greerwatson posted an FKFic-L War XV installment in her journals: "WAR: Die-Hards: Stumblebum" (1/1)
• 1 FK work on the AO3 currently shows February 2014 as its publication date. It's a collection of Pacific Rim fusion/crossover drabbles and ficlets.

Meta (Essays, Analysis, Discussion)

• 2/02: greerwatson invited latecomers to come play in FKFic-L War XV.
• 2/02: In fancake, lightbird kindly recommended "A Little Salsa Picante" (Schanke, Nick, Natalie; gen; PG13; 2006) by me.
