Ficathons, fests & communities that welcome FK

• fkficfest will open sign-ups no later than tomorrow. (That's the plan. Apologies for the delay!)
• genprompt_bingo, a low-commitment challenge game, opened its Round 14. (While the prompts are all gen, the fills are unconstrained.)
• fic_rush is a 48-hour fanfiction marathon, one weekend per month.
• fantasybig_bang has sign-ups through 5/01.
• fandom5k has sign-ups through 4/07.

• 3/24: pj1228 reported on Nigel Bennett's guest appearance on the drama series Designated Survivor with Kiefer Sutherland.
• 3/19: havocthecat relayed that Ribena, the juice concentrate used as a blood substitute on the FK set, has changed its recipe.
• 3/09: nicholas_lucien wished John Kapelos a belated happy birthday, and noted his appearance in The Shape of Water.

FKFicFest sign-ups are open through 4/20/18

The fkficfest 2018 exchange sign-ups are finally open, now through April 20. Next, I'll start posting invitation announcements on the compatible DW communities that I know of; I'll stagger them every second day, and alternate mornings and nights, to reach as many and bug as few as possible. :-)

If you know of communities I don't, please share! And in your own journals, and in all non-DW venues, please do go ahead and promote the game yourself! (I don't really have a presence elsewhere.) Here's this year's game banner, if you'd like to use it.

My thanks for your wonderful patience since the pre-game poll. I had life events to settle. Hopefully, our hobby event is now full steam ahead!
