For the month of November, in my corners of social journaling, here are the Forever Knight items that I happened to see:

Ficathons, fests & communities that welcome FK

• fandom_stocking, the no-commitments, no-limits, gifting fest is in progress. The last day to "hang" a stocking is 12/15; reveals start 01/06.
  • See the stockings wishing for FK (3 so far this year).
  • See the sign-up post and timelines and guidelines.
  • You can fill stockings without signing up.
• holiday_wishes seems similar to fandom_stocking, but it's new to me. The last day to post a wish is 12/31; the collection closes 01/07.
• yuletide, the massive annual small-fandoms exchange, is in progress.
• genprompt_bingo's Round 13 is open through March.

  • 11/01: nicholas_lucien discussed the first released "demo scene" from the in-production movie.
  • 11/02: nicholas_lucien reported that all 3 seasons are presently available from iTunes! 3rd hasn't been available for new-purchase in years, so I'd strongly recommend snapping it up if you use iTunes and don't yet have it. (I personally have 3rd season streaming via Amazon, bought before they pulled it.)
  • 11/19: nicholas_lucien wished Nigel Bennett a happy birthday.
  • 11/25: abby82 relayed that the Chiller cable network — which picked up FK after SyFy (back when it was still spelled Sci-Fi) and once ran the original US CBS '92 cut of first season (which is shorter than any other cut but nevertheless includes some scenes lacking from other cuts, most conspicuously in "False Witness") — is defunct.
  • 12/01: nicholas_lucien announced a sold-out Geraint Wyn Davies appearance with the Stratford Symphony Orchestra on 12/10.

  • 11/02: nicholas_lucien introduced her project to invigorate plot bunnies through a series rewatch with commentary.
  • 11/05: nicholas_lucien reviewed some of the characters from the first two seasons who aren't vampires.
  • 11/05: nicholas_lucien recapped the original Rick Springfield Nick Knight made-for-TV movie/not-picked-up pilot.
