brightknightie | too early to rec the HL exchange, but in general

I've read 16 of the 21 total works in this year's HL ShortCuts exchange (AO3 collection '19).

I should likely wait until I've finished the set before making recommendations -- or even wait until the authors are revealed -- but I can say now that there are some awfully nice ones in there that deserve many readings. And I feel that I've noticed a bit of a trend this year toward divergent realities and make-it-right scenarios overcoming or mending disastrous rips in what should have been. Strictly sticking with canon facts and formulas seems to be the rarest variety this round.

I can't help wondering whether that says something about our year out here in the real world. (Or maybe it's just influence from Endgame.)
