"Reunion" is S6E14 now?
Reunion is now available as "Episode 14" of HL's Season 6 on Amazon streaming. It's there at the end as if the coda it provides is an integral part of canon. The only oddity is that it has no thumbnail of its own; its thumbnail is an image of the packaging of the Season 6 DVD box.
I don't know when this happened. I've owned all the seasons on Amazon streaming for years, but I have frankly never once before looked at the end of Season 6 there. The last time I needed something from Season 6, I got it from my DVDs.
(For those who don't know, Reunion was a straight-to-DVD project, a mini-movie featuring Joe, Methos, and Amanda, filmed and set ten years after canon.)
I'd never personally considered it part of canon, as such, but it is now clearly being presented as part of canon. If only to buff the salability of the season with more run-time?

I don't remember from where, though. Was this so long ago that they still had the snail-mail catalogue of their merch, or was this from their website...? I do not remember.
They were very serious salespeople, back in the day. I remember arguing, once, with a salesman who called me trying to get me to buy their display swords; I told him, what I wanted was more stories, not more stuff.

I discovered both HL and FK after they had begun. HL in its second season, FK its third. So I experienced them with this knowledge that there was canon that I didn't know. When eventually in '96 the HL reruns came to USA and I caught up on every past HL episode I hadn't seen, I felt ... even though there was new canon yet coming ... like I had lost something. That it was somehow diminished. It was acute enough so that in '97 when it got down to the last 2 episodes of FK that I had never seen, I decided to ... save one. To this day, there is an episode of FK that I have never watched through. There is canon I do not know! It could be anything! I can only speculate! I imagine that this hole in my FK experience keeps something awake that might fall asleep without it.
As a side-effect, I discovered, once, at a bad time, that if ever I am plagued by despair, these never-seen pieces of favorite stories are a strong bargaining chip against it. Gotta watch that episode of FK first. Gotta see that HL movie first.
And so I started hoarding up bits of precious new-to-me canon here and there for various authors and fandoms, partly to avoid that feeling of loss that catching up in HL had brought, and partly just in case of extreme emotional emergency.
I don't recall how exactly Reunion got into that position. But there is has been. All this time.
The Source can hold the HL fort. I can watch Reunion. Maybe I will.

I was one of the people who got their paper snail-mail catalogue for years and years, and had an account on their official site / merch store, so...
