"Reunion" is S6E14 now?

Reunion is now available as "Episode 14" of HL's Season 6 on Amazon streaming. It's there at the end as if the coda it provides is an integral part of canon. The only oddity is that it has no thumbnail of its own; its thumbnail is an image of the packaging of the Season 6 DVD box.

I don't know when this happened. I've owned all the seasons on Amazon streaming for years, but I have frankly never once before looked at the end of Season 6 there. The last time I needed something from Season 6, I got it from my DVDs.

(For those who don't know, Reunion was a straight-to-DVD project, a mini-movie featuring Joe, Methos, and Amanda, filmed and set ten years after canon.)

I'd never personally considered it part of canon, as such, but it is now clearly being presented as part of canon. If only to buff the salability of the season with more run-time?

Oh wow! Yeah, back when I watched the series circa 2009-ish, the only way to get it was to have someone hook you up with a download; it was very much outside the main continuity. That's really neat.

I do not believe I've ever seen Reunion. Should I bother? I tend to stop caring seriously about HL at the end of season 4, or at the very least immediately pre-Horse-stupid.

It’s cute if you like watching Amanda, Methos, and Joe together. It was filmed in Peter Winfield’s house. It’s basically a post-credits kind of mini-episode.

So weird! But also vaguely cool in that it's no longer a random YouTube video.

I know I watched it online because I didn't have the money to buy the DVD from the catalogue - I think it came out around the time I was still scraping together money to stay in Seacouver, I mean Seattle. ;-)

That's really strange. I know I saw it, but really don't remember it at all, other than to think it was kinda like mild fanfic. It's fun to think I can watch it on prime as a coda to the show.

I forgot to say, that I think the beach house was Panzer's. And it actually had a stripper pole in the bedroom. Ewww.

Interesting! I haven't seen it through, only a few clips. I remember being at a con after it was filmed and coming/came out, and everyone was excited. But it felt...sad...to me somehow and I didn't want to watch it. Maybe now I will. I'm not sure yet. But I don't think I'd consider it canon. But I play loose-goosey with canon, so I'm the last one to talk about it!
