Improved test CSS/HTML "banner"?

Thank you very, very much for sharing your observations on my previous post! Truly, you unstuck my brain. I can do better than that with the tools I have.

The black > white > red can swap around. The image is still a tiling background inside a table, but behind the image is now a black background color, for the DW formats that don't show backgrounds. The font is thicker and larger, and now has a black drop shadow and a white glow. The font family set is: 'immajer-FK', 'Chiller', 'Long Cang', 'Segoe', 'Ink Free', 'Comic Sans', cursive." A tricky bit is that if the font gets too big in a family, it will expand the size of the table, which will both look bad and as if in violation of the banner-size guidelines for the announcement communities. After I post this, I will view it on a device with no added fonts. Thinking!

Not sure whether I should venture an opinion or not, since I'm probably not playing, but I do prefer the white lettering also, though the glow definitely helps with the red.

The white is clearer and easier for me to read.

I also find the white font easier to read.
Now the banners appearing on the comment page are black with the font in the middle, but the images are missing. On the newsfeed page it looks complete with images.

I see the same as PJ - on the feed I can see the images but click on the post and it's all just a black bar. I do like the red lettering.
