If you'd like to help pick our 3 prompts for fkficfest 2022, you officially have about 10 hours remaining. (In reality, you have until a reasonable hour on Sunday morning, Pacific Time.) Rank the prompts.

I made a foolish call about how to calculate the winning prompts this year. (Read about it.) Tomorrow, I'll calculate the promised way and the proposed way and share all the numbers. Please forgive my planning fumble! I can fix the method to get a more playable result, but that brings the fundamental wrongness of changing methods mid-event. I'm sorry.

The excitement is definitely rising!

Don't worry about changing methods mid-event. Your originally proposed way would probably have worked well with fewer prompts or more voters. If the method doesn't work with the current number of prompts and voters and this becomes only apparent mid-event, it's only logical to amend procedures. Happens in other settings all the time.
