Nitelvr AO3 account

The recently-new AO3 account nitelvr has been uploading the author's vintage fic from FKFic-L days. If you were there then, you probably recall this fan; check the profile for the author's self-identification.

Back in the days of my very defunct, not to be revived, "FK recommendation of the month" project (DW tag) (fansite), I recommended 2 of this author's pieces that are now available on the AO3:

• "To a New Day" from 1995 (~4K words, PG, gen)


• "Lust for Blood" from 1994 (~15K words, PG-13, gen)

This author was reliably Nick-centric and pro-Nick. If that's your cup of Ribena, maybe check out a few stories?

Interesting. I've always wondered what happened to her.

During the lockdown phase of the pandemic, she contacted me and very reasonably asked me to update the links to her fic on my not-updated-since-2012 fansite to point to her new personal site. Because of pandemic computer-related issues, I didn't have practical access to my site or my software -- still, don't really; long story; been living in the Cloud ever since, mainly -- so I promised to look into doing something about the defunct site when I got tools back, and also let her know that the AO3 is where people read these days, and that I felt she should consider putting her stories there.

Didn't hear anything else until she appeared on the AO3. :-)
