Ficathons, Fests and Communities

• fksquee is a new FK DW community, moderated by melissatreglia.
• fandom_stocking/fandom_stocking is back on LJ for another year, and on DW for the first time! [Correction: It's DW-only this year. But you can play using OpenID if you don't have a DW account!]
• insmallpackages is another multi-fandom winter-holiday wish-granting community.
• "Gen in January 2013" prompt claiming is open at the_fic_trader.
• festivids check-in will be 12/08-12/14.

Fanfiction

• 11/22: greerwatson announced her "To Be Thankful" (on her website and FKFic-L).
• 11/12: melissatreglia announced her "Debate Fic 2: Natalie Lambert vs. Bella Swan" (on the AO3).
• 11/06: melissatreglia announced her "Debate Fic: Nick Knight vs. Edward Cullen" (on the AO3), and celebrated that this was her 70th AO3 posting.
• 5 FK works on AO3 currently show November 2012 as their publication dates. (One is by a new-to-me author, and it's not a crossover!)

Meta (Essays, Analysis, Discussion)

• 11/05: melissatreglia mentioned an FK Egyptian AU WIP.
• 11/03: melissatreglia discussed creating fksquee and also assorted FK crossover (with Supernatural and Twilight) "crack" ideas.

Airings:
Chiller will not air FK in December or January. Boo!
