Next Week will be Halfway Through FKFicFest 2013

Next week, believe it or not, will bring the 2013 FKFicFest default deadline (the last point at which to withdraw with no recriminations whatsoever). Yikes! Wherever is the summer going? I'm pinning my hopes on writing my heart out over the long US Independence Day weekend. Fingers crossed...

How are you doing with your story (or visual art)? Feel like chatting over any FK observations or conundrums in a not-too-spoilery way here? :-) Need some cheerleading?

I plan to have a draft in 2 weeks, which I can then print out and take with me on vacation for refinement. I'm glad that I have a weekend ahead of me with no other plans than writing.
