For the month of July, in Forever Knight, in my corners of social journaling, here are the items that I spotted:

Ficathons, Fests and Communities

fkficfest/fkficfest:
- Held a "parade of stars," linking to this years players' stories from past years' games.
- Posted the find a beta / be a beta post.
- Stories come due on Saturday 8/09 and begin releasing on Monday 8/11! (Sunday 8/10 is for you to polish and your mod to recruit pinch hitters.)
rarecharacters/rarecharacters and genficexchange/genficexchange both held nominations and sign-ups. They'll release stories in October and September, respectively.
As always, the recommendation communities fanart_recs, fancake, bestthingever and het_reccers could use reccing volunteers.

Fanfiction

7/16: On het_reccers, honor_reid recommended "Mortals & Mortal, Guilty" by Cagey, a Natalie/Joe FK/HL crossover.
3 FK works on the AO3 currently show July 2014 as their publication dates. (Actually, I knew this author in forkni-l days, and I recommended one of these stories, "The Battle of Hastings," in my rec-o-the-month project years ago. The other two, I don't remember.)

Meta (Discussion, Essays, Etc.)

7/24: melissatreglia shared that Nick boosted her current story word count when she let him ... do what he does best? ;-) Angst.
7/27: [Locked] requested opinions and reflections on the original Rick Springfield Nick Knight versus the eventual Forever Knight.
7/31: hearts_blood related brushing up against a RL "Natalie Ducharme." Sometimes, the universe does speak our language.
