• A happy FK reminiscence by Twinsarein, which continued through a few chatty exchanges as Twinsarein hunted up FK DVDs and rewatched "Dark Knight" for the first time in a long time.
• A lovely Nick/Janette New Year's card (first-season promo still) by FalconHorus, featuring my favorite Nick/Janette pose, here with a subtle suggestion that the Raven's lights are holiday lights, plus a sweet promise of a ficlet yet to come. Hmmm, of all FK's characters, whomever might this ficlet feature? ;-)

Thank you for linking! I was so overwhelmed by the time I made my own personal challenge with FandomStocking that I have not gone back to trawl them for goodies.

(A side note for you, as I think you like Duncan/Tessa? I did manage a drabble of them in someone's stocking.)

Thank you for the heads-up about your Duncan/Tessa drabble! Yes, indeed, Duncan and Tessa together are one of the special couples that I adore far beyond my normally gen-ish scope. :-)

I really need to do a complete rewatch of FK. It's been a while. Unfortunately Amazon doesn't have Season 3 up for streaming. :(

I agree! The screenshot that PJ chose from "The Fix" is really well and kindly chosen with me in mind.

FK is always good for a rewatch! If you want company, I could promise to match at one ep per week; I'm not positive I could match at speedier rates.

Yep. I don't know for sure, but third-season really looks to have all the hallmarks of some sort of rights dispute.

For a time, FK was available for streaming on Crackle, Hulu and Amazon. (I don't know whether it was ever on Google Play; it's not now. I heard it was available on iTunes back then, but I didn't have Apple devices, so I never saw for myself.) After a while, FK vanished entirely from Crackle and Hulu, and Amazon pared down to S1 and S2 only. Those of us who purchased S3 from Amazon while it was available still have it in our Amazon video libraries (we can still stream it in all the usual ways), but no one else can buy it.

At the same time, S1 and S2 remained available in their DVD sets directly from Amazon at customary prices, while S3 is available in DVD on Amazon only from third-party sellers only, often at grotesquely inflated prices (over $100!). Whenever I see a set available there for ~$30 or less, I post about it, fwiw. If I ever find a set at, for example, Half-Price Books, I'll snap it up and offer it to someone who otherwise has no S3 access.

S3 is indeed a painful, wretched thing in many ways. But no FK fan should have to be without it! Indeed, it's S3's very wretchedness that calls out so powerfully that FK needs us to challenge and mend.
