Fandom PSAs

• Any known Mexico City earthquake fan efforts?
• fandomlovespuertorico is fundraising via fanwork auction to help Puerto Rico following Hurricane Maria. The designated charity is ConPRmetidos. Creator sign-ups go through 10/15, with the auction starting 10/21 (closing TBA).
• harvey_fanaid closed on 9/30. (I was able to donate to a charity, and a fellow fan is writing a new story! I hope lots of others could, too.)

Ficathons, fests & communities that welcome FK

• yuletide, the massive annual small-fandoms exchange, is going strong. You know the drill!
• smallfandombang, a 10K+ words challenge for small fandoms, has sign-ups through 10/31.
• spook_me, a Halloween challenge, will release on 10/26.
• trickortreatex, a Halloween exchange, will reveal on 10/31.

• 9/07: nicholas_lucien shared a look at the in-production movie's new title logo, and summarized an earlier live Q&A by some of the movie's PTB.
