Tornadoes in Toronto

Did you know that Toronto is subject to tornadoes? Until just this past month, I didn't! Yet while tornadoes are quite rare there, the geography, meteorology, and climate do support them. (Google search on "Toronto" & "tornado")

Off the top of my head, and not counting the occasional Wizard of Oz parody or crossover, I can't recall any FK fanfiction featuring a tornado or tornado warning!

Tornadoes in Toronto? No, I didn't know that. (And BTW, I just got back from spending time in Toronto because I was there for the due South 25th Anniversary Convention.)

Very rare in Toronto proper, though I vaguely recall one occurring in the suburbs some years ago. Certainly, they do happen in communities around Toronto. The main tornado corridor runs across the province to the north of us.

I suppose you can have one just about anywhere, really, if the conditions are right. But I wouldn't have expected Toronto for some reason.

I don't know, I'm a Midwesterner, meteors sound more like fiction fun to me! :)
