"TBA" in an exchange request body on the AO3...?
I poked through the early sign-ups for the
everywoman '22 exchange, and I saw a fair percentage that had selected the fandom and characters, but said only "TBA" in the request body.
Is that a normal and acceptable thing? Could I put in all my requests now, so that people know, and then go back and fill them in later? (There's no chance of getting accidentally trapped into a blank request, unless I lose all internet access between now and the end of sign-ups?)

I think that I will include "[To Be Added]" and a link to a "to be completed" author letter, just in case of the unlikely and unexpected.

(I am pre-emptively asking to be filtered out of your brainstroming for this one, as we do overlap on fandoms and I actually signed up this year.)

And thank you for the pre-emptive ask. I will go right now and update my brainstorming filter for until after Everywoman.

If you're really worried about getting trapped offering a blank request, you can also create a TBA DW entry, and link to that in your sign-up. That way, even if you somehow miss the closing of sign-ups, you'll have something you can edit. (ETA: And now I see above that you've already thought of this.)
I was going to point you to the Automagic App, in case you didn't know about it, for easier tracking of requests, but it looks like the mods haven't fully set up the exchange on on AO3--there are no dates in the profile--so I'm not sure the app will be able to scrape it.

Yes, I should have thought of the placeholder letter from the beginning.
