2012 FKFicFest Survey Open 01/17-01/31

I've posted the 2012 preparatory survey on fkficfest/fkficfest (for the annual Forever Knight ficathon game).  The poll will stay open through 01/31/12.  If you're a community member — all FK fans are invited! click to join! — please stop by there and share your preferences and suggestions for making this year's game fun and smooth for all.

Our excuse for this year's celebration is the twentieth anniversary of CBS first broadcasting "Dark Knight."  Tuesday, May 5, 1992.  And then "Dark Knight, the Second Chapter" aired the very next night, thanks to the "Crimetime After Primetime" format.  (Yep, FK had a spring premiere, back when that was highly unusual.)  Wow!

By the way, do you know of a fest that's used the AO3 to release stories over time, instead of all at once?  I've been trying to combine existing options to "hotwire" a measured release there.  (People seem to have more fun in fests that stretch over time.)

purimgifts releases them in batches over three days. I'm not entirely sure how roga (the moderator) does it, but I get the impression that she's doing it manually, marking stories for release one at a time. You could PM her and ask; she knows me, so you can tell her I sent you.

Thank you! I will ask. I don't know whether we want to do FKFicFest that way, but if it's possible, I very much want to examine the option.
