A Little Fleur-Boosting

This is so late for any of the holidays she mentioned that she's probably forgotten, but nevertheless this post is for [livejournal.com profile] falcon_horus, who specifically requested some new Fleur toys to play with.

Wallpaper.  Here is the ficathon wallpaper I made and used while writing "Starwort" to that quotation-prompt in the [livejournal.com profile] femme_fic event about a year ago.  Here is an alternate wallpaper I made for another story idea (an AU) for that same prompt, but which I haven't written yet because I couldn't complete the historical research in time.  And here is a plain old Faithful wallpaper collage.

Icons.  Here are twelve new Fleur user-pic icons, available if you would like them:

1.

2. 3.

More Icons

4. 5. 6.
7. 8. 9.
10. 11. 12.

I'm still learning to use Paint Shop Pro and to produce for this environment; constructive suggestions for improved results would be welcome.  The original screenshots used in making the items above are from Knight Watchman and Knight Vision, of course (except for the two latter-day images in the wallpaper, which come from IMDB).

*giggles & bounces*

SQUEE!!! Look at the pretties! SHINY!!!

You may see them pop-up on my LJ. I still have some room for more icons, credited of course (so that everybody knows who made them).

And yes, I had forgotten. :p

I hope you enjoy them! And yes, it's been a long time since you asked. :-)

I like them! Especially No. 9 and 2. And I love the Faithful Wallpaper! Thanks for sharing.

Thank you very much! (#2 is my second-favorite of the batch, close after #1.)

Oh these are lovely. I love 1, 4, 5, and 8 and I'm so intrigued by the idea of an AU Fleur and Andre story. With the image of an older Hayden Christensen am I correct in guessing that Fleur would have had to opportunity to see her son grow into an adult?

I recently joined [livejournal.com profile] halfamoon, a community for celebrating female characters in fandom, and they'll be having a challenge the first two weeks of February. New and older fanworks will be accepted. Forever Knight has yet to be represented but I'm hoping to change that. I'm sure your Fleur fanworks would fit in perfectly.

I'm still learning to use Paint Shop Pro and to produce for this environment

As a fellow icon newbie I sympathize. I'm mostly a trial and error person but I find the icon related communities on LJ tremendously helpful. I highly recommend [livejournal.com profile] icon_tutorial. There are program specific tutorial, including Pant Shop Pro, as well tutorials on cropping, textures, color, etc. [livejournal.com profile] icon_coloring is also handy.

Thank you!

Yes, the AU would diverge from canon at "Fallen Idol." I actually wanted yet-older images, but of course these actors aren't that old yet, regardless of what I do with the characters. ;-)

I have an AU I've been spinning, but not writing, since 1996. When that prompt came along, it naturally became an episode in that long-running AU in my head, but then I needed some particular historical information and couldn't find it in time for the ficathon, and changed gears. (If you were curious enough that you wanted to chat about that AU on email, I'd love it, but I always think I'm on the verge of actually writing it, so I hate to air it too much in public, all spoilery....)

>"New and older fanworks will be accepted."

That's pretty unusual, isn't it? Most events are very focused on generating new activity. Thank you for the heads-up; I will take a look.
