FKFicFest '23 nominations open! (a day late, oops)

FKFicFest nominations are now open! (This is not an April Fools' Day joke.)

Yes, a day late. Sorry! Two Fridays ago, I came within a click of posting, only to realize I was a week early. Today, I woke up to the realization that I'd missed the date.

(I meant to post before work yesterday, but had work too much on my mind. After work, I went straight to the theater (masked, of course) for Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, which is truly just fine -- a love-letter to fans, even -- and not any of the things I was anxious about, so do go see it if at all inclined. If folks are interested, I'll make a separate spoileriffic post to chat about the movie.)

Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves is satisfactory! I will very likely watch it a second time, though whether on the big or little screen, I don't know. (My other observations and opinions are spoily, so withheld here.)

Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, however, is a storytelling masterclass. Someday, when you're not tired, and happen to be in the mood, you might consider giving it another try? :-)
