For April, in Forever Knight, in my corners of social journaling, here's what I spotted:

Ficathons, Fests and Communities

• fkficfest/fkficfest is taking sign-ups through Friday, May 17! (This has been mentioned on last_writes and ForKni-L.) Please spread the word and submit your prompts!
• month_of_meta/month_of_meta is live for May! This multi-fandom fest celebrates essays, timelines, research and all the other wonderful things we create for our fandoms besides fiction, poetry, vids and art. (You can play with or without a deadline commitment.)
• rarewomen will release its 2013 stories on 5/04. FK was requested!
• senmut opened a free-for-all multi-fandom kissing meme without an official deadline. Still time to play?

Fanfiction

• senmut's kissing meme scored two FK entries: one Nick/Natalie and one Nick/Lacroix.
• 3 FK works on AO3 currently show April 2013 as their publication date (all by Merfilly|SharpestAsp).

Meta (Essays, Analysis, Discussion)

• 4/30: twilight2000 posted a FKFicFest Dear Author Letter.
• 4/06: lindsey_blythe posted on both fk_fanfiction and fk_icons to share (on her own journal) some graphics she made proposing recasting FK.

Actors

• 4/16: pj1228 shared that NB appears in the new TV movie Time of Death.
• RIP Greg Kramer (March 11, 1961 - April 8, 2013)
