Granted, my screen is not entirely blank. :-) But it's one week to the

fkficfest/

fkficfest deadline and the word count of my outline and notes still exceed that of my draft text! Ack! Wherever has the time gone? (Hurry, self; use this weekend well! ~g~)

For those not in a hole of their own making, may I recommend checking out the beta-reading posts? On DW and/or on LJ. There are requests and offers on both! You can communicate freely on both using OpenID; you don't have to have accounts at both to comment on both. If you have issues with OpenID, let me know, and we'll figure out something. (If you aren't playing in the ficathon this year but would still like to participate, beta-reading is a marvelous contribution! Making each story the best it can be really does matter.)

I plan to volunteer to beta as soon as my own story is fully drafted...
