I just got the sad news that Diane E. died last week. I knew Diane only a little, only on the FK email lists, back in the day, where she wrote mostly humorous fanfic, though some serious, too (archived here on the Former FTP Site). We shared the lists in '96 for sure — that's all I get to claim — but I do remember. (What FK fan could forget '96?) People much closer to her than me are reminiscing about her beta-reading, her costuming, and her generosity.

I understand that she was only fifty-two and had been in hospice care with a brain tumor.

Peace, to Diane. Comfort, to her family and friends.
