As some of you know, between last year's

fkficfest/

fkficfest and this year's, I got a new job (good!) with what seems to me to be a very long commute (bad!) and I'm currently trying to find a new home closer to my new job. I'm also just beginning to recover from a three-week Very Bad Cold. Consequently, I'm finding it challenging this year to simultaneously fulfill my ficathon roles as moderator and reader. I'm already behind on commenting, and I'm sorry about that! I will both read and comment on every story in the fest! It will just take me longer this year than in the past.
