Happy Canada Day! For June, in Forever Knight, in my corners of social journaling, here's what I spotted:

Ficathons, Fests and Communities

fkficfest/fkficfest dances forward, passing the halfway point just last week. Stories and drawings come due at the end of July! Expect the "find/be a beta-reader" post next week.
rarecharacters/rarecharacters will soon host an event (details to be determined).
tagyourit/tagyourfic matches players on fandom and trope (rather than character or pairing). Nice idea!
ineedmyfics/ineedmyfics nominations are open; FK is eligible!
fanart_recs and het_reccers are always looking. Got any FK recs to share?

Fanfiction
1 FK work on AO3 currently shows June 2013 as its publication date. It's "Be My Valentine" in tweets, by melissatreglia.

Meta (Essays, Analysis, Discussion)

6/25: greerwatson announced and discussed a new FK Wiki article on FKFic-L War 14.
6/22: [Locked] pointed out this "Come Undone" UF or CotK fanvid on YouTube.
6/02: pj1228 shared and discussed early reviews of this year's Stratford plays (especially those featuring GWD and NB).
6/01: greerwatson announced that a vintage edition of "Mr. Happy's Site," a venerable FK site, is now available in the FK website archive. Additionally, Mel's archive is currently unavailable, so Steph has uploaded a mirror.
Periodically, [Locked] posted regarding writing for this year's FKFicFest.
