Rarewomen Nomninations Open
Saturday, February 1st, 2014 01:25 pmNominations for the Rarewomen Ficathon opened on January 30 and continue through February 8! Again, this is the ficathon for rarely fanwritten female characters. (See the admin post for all the details.)
At this time, Natalie, Janette, Tracy, Cohen, Fleur and Erica have all been nominated for FK — excellent! — so there's no need to spend slots on re-nominating them. I think that I'll therefore be nominating Urs, Serena, Alexandra, Lily and... Alyssa? Grace? Emily? Mai? Haven't decided! But I'll definitely check the spreadsheet again before entering my nominations on the AO3. (That it's presently 6 nominations, when each nominator has 5 slots, puzzles me a little. Substantial overlap between the first nominators, or error, or...)
No HL, YB or original BSG nominations are in yet, and I haven't decided what (if anything) to do with my own fifth fandom slot. I don't plan to request or offer outside those four, but I'd be happy to boost a congenial fandom for someone else. Any of you need more slots for PoI, SH, Grimm, Call the Midwife, old-school Marveldom, nineteenth-century novels, Dungeons & Dragons: The Animated Series, Monarch of the Glen, Nero Wolfe...?
