Overthinking my own FKFicFest prompts
Thursday, May 28th, 2015 10:56 pmSo of course I'm over-thinking my own
fkficfest/
fkficfest sign-up. I don't recommend over-thinking prompts! I'd advise going with your heart and sense of wonder, every time. Can I take my own advice?
I'd thought that I had all four slots neatly filled on Monday evening — and I was particularly tickled by achieving a crossover prompt for a show that hasn't been canceled (yet), because crossovers aren't my native ground — but when I read the prompts through, I realized that two of the four coincidentally referenced the same trope... and it's not even a trope that I intrinsically like! It's just a particularly positioned moment in canon. So: over-thinking.
I wish you all very well with your prompt slates! I trust that you're all planning prompt slates ;-) and recruiting fellow players.
