Ficathons, fests & communities that welcome FK

• older_not_dead is holding its 33rd prompt-a-thon throughout August. This game is for romance stories in which both parties are aged 40 or older.
• femslashex has sign-ups open through 8/22. Stories come due on 10/06. This exchange is for f/f stories.
• darkestnightex will reveal its stories on 9/28. This exchange celebrates dark themes.
• prompt_meme is a new panfandom community. If I understand correctly, it's for open prompting without claiming, threaded by fandom.
• trickortreatex seems likely to open nominations near 9/01, based on past experience. (Just a prediction, not a promise.)
