Ficathons, fests & communities that welcome FK

• fkficfest is releasing! We have 9 stories this year; 3 have released so far.
• everywoman, an exchange featuring female characters, has nominations 6/01-6/08, with sign-ups 6/10-6/20, and works due on 7/25.
• comment_bingo is a bingo challenge to leave comments on existing works, with the selections guided by prompts. Their first round runs until 9/03.
• 10prompts is a low-pressure writing challenge with themed tables.
• allbingo's June theme is "food."
• fancake's June theme is "fanvids."

Everywoman exchange nominations

Nominations opened today for this year's everywoman exchange. I went ahead and immediately nominated select characters from D&DC, BSG78, HL, FK, YB, and Journey to the West, in hopes of encouraging folks who enjoy those fandoms to play this year.

That's 6 fandoms and each individual may nominate up to 8. Am I forgetting any I shouldn't? Hmmmm. I'm unlikely to write or request MCU, though I'll read it. Maybe I should nominate more literature? I found it distressing not too long ago when I looked at The Woman in White fanfic and saw people pairing that villain with that heroine and my eyes popped out of my head and I ran screaming in the opposite direction... but I don't have to offer if the requests look like they go a certain way, of course. Hmmm.
