I see 12 stories by 8 authors in the

fkficfest queue at this time. I've emailed the 1 other author I know for sure is playing, to ask whether I can help in any way (and to remind that we can continue editing while stories are on the AO3) (will I be editing my own story today? you bet!).

As usual and as promised, the collection is open until noon today Pacific Time. If you need any kind of help to meet that deadline, please get in touch!

Here we go! We now have 13 stories by 9 authors in the

fkficfest queue. That's all that I know of, and no one has asked for an extension to upload, so I'll go ahead and work out our release schedule this afternoon. I'll post confirmation to the community by bedtime tonight (Pacific Time).

At one story per day, this takes us from tomorrow, Monday, June 26 through Saturday, July 8, with the final list to post on Sunday, July 9. I hope to arrange a diverse order that will be fun and easy for us all to read and enjoy as many stories as may bring joy.

fkficfest. Everything is set to start releasing stories tomorrow. I'll stop the play-by-play here now! ;-)

Unofficially, I've scheduled the two shortest stories for the two national holidays (July 1 and 4), hoping folks can still fit in some reading amidst celebrations. The longest stories will come approximately every three days. The romances have gen between them. The Lacroix-centric stories have Lacroix-free stories between them. I couldn't space out all the stories set in the same season or responding to the same prompt, but they should never come more than two in a row (unless I've missed guesses; I only read the headers and notes in advance for scheduling; I don't read the stories).
