• On 12/29, the fandom_stocking mod called for volunteers to ensure at least one treat for every player.
• On 12/26, Yuletide Madness went live with one FK story: "The Man Who Had Everything." There are no regular FK Yuletide stories for 2010.
• On 11/30, senmut announced the next round of her "Gen in January" fest, which happens on the_fic_trader.

Fanfiction

• On 12/28, under lock, someone mentioned that natmerc has begun uploading to the AO3, including two FK stories.
• On 12/24, waltd announced a new FK Christmas story, the twelfth in his calendar series.
• On 12/23, foxy11814 began posting a WIP called "The Newcomer" (Nick, Natalie, Lacroix).
• On 12/19, senmut announced her "Old Times Not Forgotten" (PG; FK/HL; Janette/Amanda) for the Femslash Advent Calender.
• On 12/05, lastscorpion announced that she has finished uploading to the AO3, including five FK stories.

Actors

• On 12/21, under lock, someone noted that audiences may vote for 2010's favorite plays and actors in the Toronto Awards. GWD and NB are both nominated.
• On 12/19, pj1228 pointed out the new site forkni-l.com, announcing FK alumni stage appearances.

Miscellaneous

• On 12/17, hyper_roo in fk_fanfiction asked after a story titled "Death has no Dominion."
• On 12/16, mysticalcat7 reported that forkni-l digests for the year 2000 are now all archived online.
• On 12/04, 1_mad_squirrel in last_writes requested recommendations of FK/BtVS fanfiction in which Lacroix and Spike meet.

Airings

Chiller will air FK three times in January: 01/03, 9AM-3PM, second season; 01/19, 9AM-3PM, first season; and 01/29, 8AM-2PM, first season.  (What's exciting here is that they're running second season in the original aired order this time, with "Crazy Love" as the finale!  Cool.)

• On 10/24, larah33 posted a poll for the annual holiday event in oldschoolfic, the community for all canceled fandoms. Vote!
• On 10/14, it was announced all over that Yuletide nominations had opened. Nominate and request!

• On 10/15, lastscorpion announced that she's writing an FK/SGA crossover and seeking beta-readers.
• On 10/07, senmut posted "Unexpected Reunions," an FK/Lost Boys crossover for the ficathon in last_writes, the community for canceled vampire fandoms. On 10/04, she announced that she was writing it.
• On 09/29, hearts_blood requested FK fanfic recommendations and commentfic. She got some.

• On 10/26, under lock, someone reported that Geraint Wyn Davies and Claire Lautier's performances with the Pensacola Shakespeare Theatre were "awesome." On 10/27, someone added "cute."
• On 10/03, pj1228 announced Catherine Disher's Gemini nomination (Best Supporting Actress, Drama) for the The Border episodes "The Dead" and "Dark Ride."
• On 09/30, havocthecat clued me in to John Kapelos's guest turn in "Oh Kappa, My Kappa," the third episode of the new Canadian genre series Lost Girl (episode discussion).

• abby82 posted assorted season-one FK icons on October 5, shared a new promotional photo of Catherine Disher in The Border on October 13, and posted her very first animated gif (from "Dark Knight, The Second Chapter") on October 18.
  
  
• havocthecat posted "Five Ways (and Six Universes) Where Elizabeth Weir and Sam Carter Don't Meet" on October 16.  One of those universes is FK!  (The home universe is Stargate Atlantis.)  As you know, the actors who play Weir and Carter were in FK's "Last Act" and "Near Death," respectively.
  
  
• amilyn recreated her impressive Natalie Mood Theme/Set on November 2.
  
  
• dj_clawson wrote a Forever Knight/Indiana Jones crossover comment-fic on November 8!  Professors Jones and Girard, circa 1954.  Funny!
